Course Overview:
This qualification equips learners with the knowledge and confidence to provide first response support to those experiencing mental health issues. While it does not enable learners to diagnose or treat mental illness, it provides foundational skills to recognise signs of poor mental health, offer initial assistance, and refer individuals to appropriate support services. This course also helps organisations develop a wellness-focused workplace culture by fostering resilience and mental wellbeing awareness among staff.
