ARMED FORCES COVENANT

At Close Protection Academy, we are incredibly proud to have formally signed the Armed Forces Covenant on August 1st, 2025, a solemn agreement upheld by Training Director and Reservist Nick Player on our behalf.

This commitment is our public promise to support those who serve or have served in the UK Armed Forces, along with their families.

The Covenant is based on a fundamental principle: that the Armed Forces Community should face no disadvantage in accessing public and commercial services because of their service. We recognise the profound contribution that Service personnel, reservists, veterans, and military families make to our

organisation, our community, and the country. Their dedication, skills, and sacrifices deserve our respect and unwavering support.

For ex-service personnel and their families, this means tangible support from Close Protection Academy.

We pledge to:

• Offer discounted training on our Close Protection and SIA security courses.
• Provide crucial career advice, employability workshops, and job placement support to ease the transition from military to civilian life.
• Ensure fair and inclusive recruitment when applying for roles within our own organisation.
• Offer flexible training arrangements to meet the specific needs of reservists
• and military families.

We are committed to actively publicising these commitments and working with veteran support networks and charities, ensuring that the Armed Forces Community receives the respect and opportunities they have earned.
