Course Overview:
This Level 2 Refresher Course is a mandatory qualification for all current Close Protection Operatives who need to renew their SIA licence from April 2026 onwards. This course replaces the previous ‘Top-Up’ training requirement and is designed to refresh and update your safety-critical skills and knowledge to meet the latest SIA standards. Delivered at our accredited training centre in Stratford, London, this essential training ensures you remain fully licensed and compliant with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) regulations.

Entry Requirements:
- Learners must be 18+ years old.
- You must currently hold a valid SIA Close Protection Licence.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in spoken and written English.
- Must hold a valid Level 3 First Aid at Work/ECFR/FREC3 certificate (can be booked with us).
- Pre-course self-study which must be completed before attendance, including ACT online training.
- Participants must wear appropriate, comfortable clothing suitable for practical, scenario-based training.

What to Bring:
- Two recent passport-sized photos.
- One Group A identity document (e.g., passport or full UK driving licence).
- Two Group B identity documents (e.g., utility bill, bank statement, birth certificate).
- Valid Level 3 First Aid Certificate (with minimum of 12 months validity).
- ACT Awareness and ACT Security e-learning certificates (completed within the past 12 months).
- Laptop with Microsoft Word.
