Course Content:
- Understand the types of mechanical restraint (handcuffs).
- Understand the law and good practice guidelines in relation to the use of mechanical restraints (handcuffs).
- Understand the importance of safe working practices and how to respond to medical difficulties.
- Understand post-incident considerations and the importance of reporting.
- Be able to safely apply and remove mechanical restraints (handcuffs) to a compliant subject.
- Be able to safely apply and remove mechanical restraints (handcuffs) to a non-compliant subject.

Entry Requirements:
- Learners must be 18+ years old.
- Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection Licence.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in spoken and written English.
- Participants must wear appropriate, comfortable clothing suitable for practical, scenario-based training.
